Like the symposium in the year 2003 the symposium unites the basic elements of research of venom spiders with the possibilities of application of the various venom cocktails or several venoms isolated out of these and their combinations in pharmacology and medicine.

For the first time the possibilities of application of several mouth secretions of varans and lizards are being discussed by Dr. Biochem. Dirk Weickmann.

Best possible animal keeping as well as a perfect method of “milking” is necessary for the extraction of original substance cocktails.

  Bruno Bruni Retrospective

The great retrospective Bruno Bruni „emotions of my life“ takes place from 11th September to 26th October 2005 in the historic ambiance of the Society of the Casino Wiesbaden under the auspices of the Hessian Prime Minister Roland Koch. This exhibition is presented by ars mundi.

With more than 300 exhibits of Bruno Bruni among those freehand drawings, oil paintings, sculptures and graphics are to be found this is the largest retrospective of the works of Bruno Bruni. Early works of the 1960s are being showed as well as new works of the last few years. Political and erotic subjects are side by side. There are even floral subjects. The retrospective is exhibited on more than 650 m² at: Wiesbadener Casino-Gesellschaft, Friedrichstr. 22, D-65185 Wiesbaden.
